Version 2.8
Whole Application
- SSL Security Introduced: SSL (or Secure Sockets Layer)has been introduced globally across Version 2.8 of 24/7 Sales Center. Previously, individual 24/7 clients would have had to purchase their own SSL Key and contract Aareas Interactive to implement the security feature within their specific application.
- All required SSL keys are now obtained by Aareas Interactive and implemented as part of the basic application for all system users.
- This security feature allows users to sign-in to 24/7 securely using the same protocols used by major bank websites. During the 2.8 introductory period, this option can be enabled/disabled depending on a company’s needs/requirements.
Email Campaigns
- ‘Opt Out’ option becomes sales center based: Contacts registered in multiple sales centers can now ‘opt out’ of email campaigns in one, a couple, or all sales centers (previously, option was global and to ‘opt out’ from one sales center meant doing so for all).
- Automatic ‘opt out’ filtering: When conducting an email campaign, user no longer has to manually filter recipient list (via dashboard) to ignore all contacts who chose to ‘opt out’, will happen automatically.
- Ability to ignore ‘opt out’ designation: In event of an important mailing, (generally not related to marketing efforts) at the time of upload, system users have ability to configure a mass email to be sent to all recipients regardless of whether they’ve chosen to ‘opt out’ or not.
- ‘Opt out’ option added to each mailing: Mail recipients may now choose to ‘opt out’ of email campaigns automatically by clicking on button displayed at bottom of message.
- Addition of ‘View HTML’ option: Ability to display and allow mail recipients to select ‘View HTML Version’ option which will open/display entire contents of email in user’s web browser.
- Support for ‘multi-part’ emails: When enabled, this option will effectively send two versions of the same email message (html and text) and display the correct message depending on user’s email application/device (e.g.: PDA will display text version whereas Outlook will display html).
Rescission Period
- Rescission period moved to/included in SC/Phase Setup screen. Can be configured on a Sales Center-by-Sales Center basis.
Contact Cards
- Unnecessary contact card tabs (e.g.: Purchase Details, Finish Details, etc.) are removed from all contact-types where these tabs are not required (e.g.: Broker, Vendor, Lender).
Purchase Related
- Users can associate and upload completed/signed agreements to specific purchases (previously, documents were all stored in single location for all of a contact’s purchases).
- User can upload competed/signed agreements to specific screens/aspects associated with a purchase (e.g.: On Home/Unit Lot Change, Rescission Change, Name Change, and General Change tabs)
- Price Discounts/Increases may now be applied to a purchase using the new Incentives link located on the Purchase Details screen. Discount/increase may be expressed as a simple dollar value or percentage of calculated purchase price.
- Automatic System Emails set up in DMC to automatically message/notify both a designated employee and/or purchaser when a purchase becomes Sold:Firm in the application.
Finish Details
- System users can upload options-related purchase documents to each Options-selection stage (e.g.: Drywall stage, Finish Stage, etc.) via Finish Details screen.
- New right added to User Rights page designed to block/allow the uploading of options-related purchase documents based on a user’s credentials.
- New field(s) added to Finish Details tab displaying both Total Upgrades (at POS) and Total Upgrades (after POS). Note: POS = Point of Sale
Media Content Module
- New Media Center link added to the bottom of Main Menu. Depending on the module(s) purchased, users can use this link to access all pages where media content may be uploaded for use in Kiosk Module and other aspects of the application.
- Access the Media Upload screen associated with a contact either via a link on the contact card, or directly from the Search Results pane of the contact dashboard.
- Upload multiple documents at the same time: Users are no longer forced to upload each media file separately.
- Ability to edit and re-save any field within an existing media record. Previously, in order to change the entry within a specific field, entire record would have to be deleted and recreated.
- Link directly to a media file already hosted online by entering the file’s URL instead of unnecessarily tying up bandwidth by uploading each individual file.
- Virtually any pre-defined type of media can be uploaded into the Media Center under one of four basic categories: Document, Video, Graphic, and Other Document (Note: Configuring the system to accept multiple/various file types will require the assistance of your Aareas Interactive Project Manager
- Media Upload interface allows for file groupings and sub-groupings. This new feature allows files to be stored in individual sub-groups within a larger grouping (e.g.: Grouping= VDC Images, Sub-Grouping = Standard Items, Upgrade 1 Items, etc.)
System Usage History
- New expanded history tables created and covering virtually all aspects of the application. Previously, history tables covered/monitored changes in critical sections and screens whereas current updated history coverage applies to any change initiated on almost any screen.
- As current system pages become updated, a user-interface will be added to each to allow viewing of historical records/transactions.
- Currently, all historical information is stored in new history tables. In the event a system user must access/view historical records or transactions, they may contact their project manager who will provide this information to them in table format (until records are available for general viewing within application).
